KFC Introduces New Chicken Chips Soup

KFC has announced the launch of a new chicken chips soup. The soup is made with KFC's signature chicken chips and is served with a side of bread for dipping.

The soup will be available at participating KFC locations nationwide for a limited time only. Customers can choose from two flavors, Original Recipe or Hot and Spicy.

"We know our fans love our chicken chips, so we're excited to introduce this new soup that features them as the star ingredient," said Andrea Zahumensky, Chief Marketing Officer for KFC U.S. "The soup is perfect for warming up on a cold day or as a quick and easy meal option."

KFC first introduced its line of chicken chips in 2017. The snacks are made with seasoned chicken breast filets that are sliced into thin strips and then deep-fried until they are crispy.

Warm Up Your Soul With This Comforting Chicken Chips Soup

Is there anything more comforting than a big bowl of chicken chips soup on a cold day? This recipe is perfect for warming up your soul on a chilly winter evening.

First, start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, spread a layer of chips evenly across the bottom of an oven-safe baking dish. Next, place the chicken breasts on top of the chips and brush them with some of the sauce.

Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Once it's done, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly before chopping it into cubes.

Now, add the soup ingredients to a large pot and bring them to a boil. Once it's boiling, reduce the heat to medium-low and let it simmer for 15 minutes. Finally, add the chicken cubes and cook for another 5 minutes or until they're heated through. Serve hot with some extra sauce on top!
